Metal gaskets are used in high pressure and normally dangerous pipelines.. in case of failure, the risks are great.
For this reason, seal integrity tests prior to pressurizing the pipeline are of utmost importance. However, traditional leak testing is resource intensive and leads to long production downtimes.
With these factors in mind, KLINGER developed KLINGER SENTRY, a seal that has a local integrity testing device.
- It allows integrity testing for individually flange gaskets without the need to pressurize the entire system.
- Accelerates integrity testing, reducing plant downtime.
- Reduces the volume of fluid required for testing.
